The Mayor Councillor Paul Milner welcomed the Love Your Local Market inspired Youth Market which was held in Oswestry Town centre on the 18th May. North Shropshire College students helped organise the event by developing their own pop up businesses and worked closely with other local schools in managing their own stalls. On the day there was a fashion stall, handmade jewellery, their own popcorn business, cakes and crafts to name a few. The students themselves designed a promotional campaign to publicize the event and actually had a dedicated event manager. The Youth Market was the highlight in a week of Oswestry Market celebration as we also held a special Antiques Market and Gardening Event during the National Campaign.
