Graham steps down as CEO

The NABMA Gala Awards Dinner is a celebratory evening, honouring the work of the people who promote and embrace the markets industry. Therefore, it was only fitting that a special presentation be made to outgoing Chief Executive, Graham Wilson, acknowledging the amazing work that he has achieved in the fourteen years in the role.

Deputy Chief Executive, David Preston gave a heartfelt homage to Graham, highlighting his career within the organisation with a presentation interspersed with amusing anecdotes and pictures.

Graham has achieved so much since he took over the position, growing membership, launching Love your Local Market, pressing Parliament on the issues affecting the industry and working together with NMTF Chief Executive, Joe Harrison on campaigns to improve the industry.

As Hilary stated in her article, Graham will still very much be part of NABMA and will continue his role as Legal Advisor and Policy Officer.

On behalf of the Market Trade News team, past and present, I would like to wish Graham the very best in his semi-retirement and thank him for his continued support of the magazine and his unfailing drive to ensure that markets have a place in our future.
